Sister Cities of Long Beach (SCLB) works to create and strengthen partnerships between the City of Long Beach, California and communities in other countries to build people-to-people global cooperation and to promote the exchange of mutually beneficial interests relating to social, cultural, community, educational, environmental and technological arenas.

SCLB members are a critical part of the relationships with our Sister and friendship Cities of: Yokkaichi, Japan | Qingdao, China | Sochi, Russia | Phnom Penh, Cambodia | Mombasa, Kenya | Taoyuan, Taiwan | Bacolod, Philippines.

Volunteer

Sister Cities of Long Beach has always relied on passionate, dedicated volunteers to build a rich legacy of cultural, educational, and economic bridges that have developed SCLB’s global identity. Volunteers generously sharing their time and creativity have always been essential to our success. Volunteer involvement can range from short-term projects to leading long-term initiatives. Examples of volunteer activities include:
